Delivery & Shipping Info

NORMAL DELIVERY TIMES:

At Transquip we take pride in the fact that our goods are delivered with speed not usually associated with online shopping. As soon as an order is approved and the payment verified, the dispatch process will begin at the warehouse level. Generally any order placed will be delivered to you in 5-10 working days Metro, 7-10 working days Rural and 7-14 working days Outback and Remote. Circumstances permitting we always strive to keep the delivery of your purchase within these time parameters. Should you order be delayed for any unforseen circumstance we will always update you via e-mail with any information you may require.
 

No need to calculate what it will cost to get your order to you! Unless otherwise stated* in the product description, the shipping fee shown in our Online Store is all you will pay no matter what part of Australia you live in.

 

REDUCED SHIPPING FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS:
Every time you add an item to your shopping cart the shipping cost will REDUCE by the following rate:

  • Less 12% if you purchase more than one item in the same order
  • Less 14% for 3 items
  • Less 15% for 4 items
  • Less 17% for 5 items
  • Less 20% for 6-10 items
  • Less 23% for 11 items or more!

So you are getting the best priced Tools in Australia and the cheapest shipping too!

If you live in a rural location and do not have a street address, it may be possible to ship to a PO box for smaller items.  We will contact you should we require more information after you place your order if it needs to go to a PO box however we must stress that for logistical and security reasons we do normally need to ship to an Australian Whitepages directory listed Private or Business Name and Street Address. We also require an Australian Whitepages directory listed landline phone number.  We understand that you may have a silent number or may have just moved (many of our clients do!) so we can ship your order to any family member, friend or work address that is listed in the Whitepages. This is a standard security measure for ALL orders taken in Australia. If you do not know anyone with a listed address, place your order anyway and we will contact you prior to shipping with other options. There will also need to be a person in attendance to recieve the goods unless otherwise specified at the point of delivery (eg: You can leave a note where the courier will find it requesting that the goods be left at your premises.  Please be advised that if the goods are left by the courier on your request at your premises they are then your responsibility.)

  

We also suggest that you make sure you (or someone else) is in attendance at the shipping address (of the order) to take delivery. If not the couriers normally WILL NOT leave the goods unless requested specifically by the recipient. If you think you will not be in attendance, it is a good idea to leave a note for the courier with your delivery instructions. Please note that all goods left by the courier at the selected shipping/delivery address is done so at the recipients own risk.

  

Please note that smaller items like Hand Tools, Socket sets, Air Tools etc can be sent via Airbag to any PO box address inside Australia, however larger items like Toolkits, Generators, Air Compressors etc must be shipped to a Street Address or alternately to your nearest Shipping Depot for you to pickup. RURAL SHIPPING SURCHARGES.

*Depending on what is purchased including heavier items (& especially with larger items like Generators, Air Compressors etc.)  there may be shipping surcharges to  Rural & Outback Locations such as the North West, NT, Christmas/Cocos Islands, rural Qld and FNQ & Tas. If there is a shipping surcharge we promise to CONTACT YOU FIRST either via E-mail to inform you of possible extra shipping charges. The order will proceed only you are happy with shipping costs.

 

Re-Delivery fees:

Please note that all couriers will charge us a re-delivery fee should you not be home to take delivery of your order(s). Naturally with our lower margins we will need to pass on this added cost (should it occur) to the purchaser. Subsequently if you have not requested (either when placing your order or by way of a note left for the courier) that the goods be left at your premises, the following will occur:

  1. A card will be left by the courier informing you of the attempted delivery
  2. You will need to collect your order from the nearest depot which is holding your order.
  3. Should you wish to have your order re-delivered you will be charged a re-delivery fee on the credit card account you used to place your order. Depending on what is being re-delivered fees will range from a Minimum of $6.90 for smaller items such as air tools, socket sets etc to $29 for larger items such as Garage Jacks, Toolkits & Air Compressors. Note: $29 is the maximum re-delivery fee payable.

You can always request when placing your order online (in the special instructions box) that the goods be left at your premises* if you are not home, or you can leave a note (where the courier will find it) requesting that the goods be left at your premises. Please be advised however that any goods left by the courier on your request at your premises are then your responsibility.

 


Optional Transit Cover


We guarantee that all items will be in good order and condition when at the point pickup by the shipping agents. Please note that while all due care is taken in the Packing and Shipping of your order, Transquip is not responsible for any Loss of goods or Transit Damage during the shipping of your order.

 

If you wish to cover your order against damage/loss, you can do so at a charge of 5% of the value of your order. (e.g.: an item costing $200 will cost $10 to cover) up to a maximum charge of $99 (ie: Any order value of $2000 or greater will only attract an $99 transit cover cost)  *Note: Min transit cover charge is $5.

An e-mail offering transit cover will be sent to you after you have placed your order.

Please note that transit cover is not compulsory and usually is not required but we do need to offer it

to you as a matter of customer service. Any transit cover costs will be added to the final cost of your order at the time of billing.

In the unlikely event of your order being damaged in transit, please note below some important information you need to know with regards to your insured order with and for delivery.

If you feel that any damage occurred to your order during transit, then the Consignment Note must be marked as DAMAGED GOODS prior to signing & taking delivery of your order.

Deliveries where inspection prior to signing off to the driver is not possible (i.e: You have no time to inspect the order right away), must be marked as Subject to Inspection on the con note.

If damage has occurred the matter must be reported to both the courier delivering your order (by calling the phone number located on the con note) & Transquip by e-mail to info@transquip.com.au . Any transit damage MUST be reported to both parties on the same or next working day after delivery. Keep the goods in question as the courier may need to inspect and/or salvage. Keep Evidence of damage of goods & of damage of packaging internally and externally, ie. Digital Photo’s These points must be adhered to as per the rules of transit cover.


TRACKING INFORMATION

 

This can be obtained on request, simply e-mail us your order number and ask for tracking info, we will send you all Online Tracking details (where available) for your order on the same or next working day. *We will always follow your delivery instructions to the best of our ability but please note that normally the courier will  require a written authority from the recipient on file  to leave the goods if not home, so your order may not be left despite your request.
